The sixth session was held on Thursday 10 September 2020. Next session is on the 23 September 2020 - 99 days before EU Exit
The UK is due to leave the Transitional Period with the EU27 on the 31st December 2020 which means customs declarations will be required for all goods going to and coming from the EU. Even if we negotiate a trade agreement with the EU, customs declaration will still be needed, as will Intrastat import reports through-out 2021, and then we have the new system for recording GB-NI movements. Strong & Herd are actively involved in Customs and Government Department committees and policy groups to ensure we can provide clarity and practical advice to our clients. This is why Strong & Herd have the free OneCall Briefings covering EU Exit Readiness which run every 2 weeks. They are practical, inactive and question driven, not just going through slides – questions sent to us in advance form the basis of each session and there is time for attendees to ask questions during each briefing to the S&H panel of expert practitioners.
