£350.00 Excluding Vat

The biggest change to EU Customs Law was implemented on the 1st May 2016 (the UCC) shortly before the UK voted to exit the EU on 23rd June 2016. In a busy working environment it is often difficult to keep up-to-date with the changes in customs and international trade procedures. So join Strong & Herd and HM Revenue and Customs in our special What’s New workshops which will be concentrating on the practical impact to EU businesses trading internationally.

This one day presentation looks at key issues that have been amended or new regulations that have come into force during the last 12 months with emphasis on the UCC changes and the impact of BREXIT on international trade giving you a quick guide of what you need to be aware of. The UCC alone is affecting customs procedures, the storage and movement of goods plus valuation rules and the use of customs processes such as Inward Processing while the changes required for the UK to leave the EU are still being addresses within the three new government departments.

Strong & Herd What’s New Sessions have been running since 2005 giving busy people the chance to see what has changed or will change within international trade procedures and regulations in an interactive workshop session. The programmes are fully revised prior to each presentation to ensure the information is current and valid. Though the What’s New sessions will be concentrating on the UCC Changes – which is a wide sweeping change affecting all areas of customs procedures – the session will still include information on other relevant changes such as with Free Trade Agreements, SPIRE replacement and sanctions, for example. Delegates should have a good knowledge of customs procedures before attending.
