Calvin has over 35 years’ experience in the import and export sector, having worked for a number of large manufacturing companies in the North West of England.

Within his role at Strong & Herd, Calvin is responsible for delivering a large and diverse portfolio of public and In-house training courses to all industry sectors. He is also involved in the day-to-day shipping office and business support work undertaken by Strong and Herd.

Calvin specialises in the rather complicated area of Customs Special Procedures, and has a proven track record of successfully applying for Customs trade facilitations such as Inward Processing, Outward Processing, Customs Warehousing, Temporary Admission and End Use.

He also teaches Incoterms 2020 rules, Tariff Classification, Export and Import courses, Authorised Economic Operator (AEO), Duty relief schemes and International Trade Compliance Management.

Calvin has also attended and successfully completed the WCO (World Customs Organisation) Tariff Classification Academy in Brussels.

He is an AET qualified adult Teacher and a Certified Industry Qualifications AEO Level 3 award Trainer.

Calvin is an ICC Registered Incoterms ® 2020 Trainer in the United Kingdom.
